The Khakanjinskoye deposit is operated by the Okhotskaya Mining and Geological Company, a subsidiary of Polymetal. The Khakanjinskoye deposit is located in the Okhotsk region of the Khabarovsky Territory 92 kilometers to the northwest of the regional center of Okhotsk. Khakanjinskoye is Russia's third largest silver deposit - in terms of both reserves and production. It is also the 16th largest silver producing deposit in the world, based on figures for 2005. In 2005 deposit's silver production amounted at 2.442 million ounces and 118,200 tonnes of gold. The deposit's ore reserves are estimated at 6.118 million ounces by JORC classification. (CO.
