The Pedrolampi deposit is located in the constituent republic of Karelia. The deposit, which was discovered in 1988, is operated by CJSC Pedrolampi Ltd. As of 2003, the deposit’s reserves amounted to 157,600 tonnes of ore containing 0.931 tonnes, or 5.91 grams per tonne, at the depth up to 100 meters.
Mineral resources of the deposit were estimated at 2.5 tonnes of gold, under P1 category.
The deposit also contains 1% of copper, 0.3% of lead, 80 grams of silver per tonne of ore, as well as zinc, molybdenum and other polymetals.
